Re: favorite kind of wire for bike lights?  Wookey

Does anyone have a favorite type of wire to use for their battery-to-lighthead
wiring? Something better than speaker wire from the hardware store?

I've found silicone 'extra flex' cable (as used in better-quality
multimeter leads, for example) is very useful in places where the wire
will be flexed repeatedly - e.g when connecting to a top-tube-hung
battery pack that swings around. Anything other than high-flex cable
breaks eventually. It's quite expensive per metre, but 2 or 3 metres
of it will last for many years.

I use powerpoles too. They can eventually corrode on a bike as they
are not entirely waterproof unless taped up but they are still a very
good option overall IMHO.
