Dear friends of Bow Triplets,
We hope you all had a fantastic mid summer with lots of sun, music
and dance. Our mid summer was really nice, we played two private
concerts and made many new friends and were treated to lots of
yummy food. (Stef may have to watch his belly a bit now).
Anyway, this is our last newsletter before the holidays, we're off to
Sweden to write some more songs:-) We'll be back in August with
more news.

1. Celtic Dream-Night still has fan tickets available.
The fabulous Variety Theatre Show Valentino, combined with
Bow Triplets' Celtic Music Night. A show put together to celebrate
the coming summer holidays, all in a big circus tent.
This big Celtic feast which we introduced in our last newsletter
takes off on Saturday 07. July in Stammheim/ZH, Switzerland.
The show starts at 07.00 pm. A lot of you have booked already.
Prebookings are going great we are told and because of the size
of the tent, there are still seats available.
However, we have been granted a special VIP section in the tent
for the friends of Bow Triplets. These tables are up close, in front
of the stage and there are still three tables available there for a
total
of eighteen people. If you live near and wish to join us, send us a
mail directly to st-@bowtriplets.com . We'll contact you to confirm
your seats if still available. Only you who read this newsletter will
get tickets for those tables.

2. New studio recordings coming up!
Yes we know! We really can't afford studio sessions so soon again
after the last album "Never Too Early". But.............
so many new songs and tunes came about this past year and they
cry to be recorded. We calculate carefully so we'll start with the most
urgent ones and keep going as money becomes available.
Again, we are working with the top sound engineer Moritz Wetter
of Hard Studios and anticipate the first two days later this year
(if we finally manage to coordinate with everyones agenda:-)
The first few tracks will feature Heidi, Stef, Andreas, Joe and
Inga-Lisa.
Dont worry, we will make some tracks available on mp3.com
as we move along so stay tuned:-)

3. Inga-Lisa Jansen. Bow Triplet's new harpist.
We warmly welcome the famous harpist Inga-Lisa Jansen to
the family of Bow Triplets' artists.
Inga-Lisa has been familiar with our music for a little over two years
and about one year ago, she was approached by Stef regarding
joining our family.
We are happy to announce that she she said yes and her first
"mission" as a Bow Triplet will be playing on our new album.
Inga-Lisa has been a close friend of ours for some time and we
find her a wonderful and sensitive person. We look forward to
working with her so much.
Heidi and Stef have had the pleasure of listening to Inga-Lisa
playing in concert on two occasions and both are deeply touched
by her sensitive and soulful interpretation of classical compositions
for harp as well as Celtic folk music (she is a great performer of
O' Carolan's extensive heritage).
The music that escapes her big golden concert harp makes her
spellbound audience close their eyes and drift away to shores
beyond limits.
Inga-Lisa was born in Sweden (!!) by Swiss parents in 1959.
After learning the basic skills of harp playing as a girl, she started
studying this wonderful instrument at the conservatory of Zuerich
in 1979 and obtained her orchestra concert diploma in 1983.
Immediatelly after this, she had the priviledge of being accepted
as a student at the Juilliard School of Music in New York where
she studied with Susann McDonald for a further three years and
obtained her solist qualification in 1985.
Consequently a number of master courses followed as well as
extensive travelling and playing in numerous orchestras and
chamber music formations.
As time went by, Inga-Lisa started taking on students to share her
gift with other young people, she had a harp class at the
conservatory of Schaffhausen and still teaches the classical harp
today. For the past two years she has also been teaching at Stef's
school of music in Andelfingen.

One of her later activities after deciding to step back from the big
classical concert halls has been accompanying fairy tales on her
golden harp (she has several:-)
We once sat in the audience on one of those fairy tale nights
and were immersed in Celtic spirit.
Once again, a hearty welcome to Inga-Lisa.
Her playing with the Bow Triplets is something to really look
forward to.

4. mp3.com. Thanks to you and Celtic Ways....
The net has started to pay some attention to us.
This month has been the most interesting for us on mp3.com
since we started. There has been an average of 120 listens daily
and this put a lot of our music in relatively high positions on the
charts about two weeks ago. The best position we had was #38
in the folk charts of several thousands with "Never Too Early".
Since then we have slipped back a bit again but it seems as if
now people do start knowing we're there if only just a little yet:-)
Several very popular mp3 radio stations have added our tracks to
their playlists and we do notice a significant average increase in
our payback for playback (again, we're talking modest figures
here:-)
We know that we owe our thanks to you, the friends of
Bow Triplets for playing and downloading our free music but
also to our internet promoter John Willmott of Celtic Ways
for never getting tired of promoting our music in his newsletters
and on his stations.
Our most popular tracks on mp3.com this month have been:

5. Jodee James. Music to fall in love with.
Jodee James, resident of New Jersey, is a singer/songwriter who
describes herself as a professional dreamer.
She is a truly wonderful singer whose voice will set you dreaming
from the moment you start listening to her songs.
Jodee played and sang in various country, alternative rock and folk
bands until she eventually found back to her roots and love for
traditional folk music, especially from Wales which is where part of
her ancestors come from.
She has a long list of great recordings which are available at

Liebe Bow Triplets Freunde
Wir hoffen, dass Ihr alle einen schoenen Mittsommer hattet mit viel
Sonne, Musik und Tanz. Unser Mitsommer war klasse, wir spielten
zwei private Konzerte, haben viele neue Freunde kennengelernt und
es gab leckeres Essen (Stef muss vielleicht jetzt ein bisschen auf
seiner Linie aufpassen)
Wie auch immer, dies ist unser letzer Rundbrief vor den Sommer-
Ferien, wir fahren nach Schweden um mehr Songs zu schreiben:-).

1. Keltischer Gala-Abend, es hat noch freie Plaetze
......mit Traumtheater Valentino und Bow Triplets.
Dieses grosse Fest hatten wir im letzten Rundbrief schon angekuendigt.
Wann: Samstag 07. Juli
Wo: Zirkuszelt bei der Reithalle in 8477-Oberstammheim/ZH.
Der Vorverkauf laeft sehr gut und weil das Zelt sehr gross ist, hat es
noch freie Plaetze. Viele von Euch habt schon einen Platz reserviert.
Ihr bekommt alle sehr gute VIP Plaetze, gerade vor der Buehne und
ganz nah. In diesem Teil fuer Bow Triplets Freunde sind noch drei
Tische Frei mit insgesamt 18 Plaetze. Wenn ihr in der Naehe wohnt
und kommen moechtet, schickt euer email direkt an:
st-@bowtriplets.com wir mailen zurueck und bestaetigen falls die
Plaetze noch frei sind. Nur die Empfaenger dieser Rundbrief koennen

2. Neue Studioaufnahmen in Sicht
Ok ok, wir wissen es! Wir koennen es uns nicht leisten, schon so
bald nach der letzten CD "Never Too Early" wieder im Studio zu
arbeiten. Aber...........da sind doch schon so viele neue Songs
zustande gekommen im vergangenen Jahr, die aufgenommen
werden wollen.
Wir werden damin anfangen, vorerst die "dringendsten" Werke
aufzunehmen um dann weiterzumachen, wenn mehr Geld vorhanden
ist.
Wieder arbeiten wir mit dem Spitzentechniker Moritz Vetter von
Hard Studios (Wer schon mal verwoehnt wurde...) und Planen die
ersten zwei Studiotage gegen Ende dieses Jahres (wenn wir es
schaffen, alle Agendas zu koordinieren:-)
Die ersten Aufnahmen werden gemacht von:
Heidi, Stef, Andreas, Joe und Inga-Lisa.
Keine Sorge, wir werden einzelne Spuren auf mp3.com publizieren
sobald sie erhaeltlich sind. Wir sagen Euch Bescheid.

3. Inga-Lisa Jansen. Bow Triplets neue Harfinistin
Ein ganz herzliches Wilkommen an die bekannte Harfinistin
Inga-Lisa Jansen in der Musikantenfamilie der Bow Triplets.
Inga-Lisa hat mit unsere Musik Bekanntschaft gemacht von ca.
2 Jahren und ungefaehr vor einem Jahr haben wir sie gefragt,
ob sie hin und wieder mir Bow Triplets spielen moechte.
Wir freuen uns, dass sie zugesagt hat und ihre erste Aufgabe
wird es sein, bei Bow Triplets neue CD mitzuwirken.
Inga-Lisa ist eine gute Freundin von uns und wir finden sie
eine wunderbare und empfindsame Frau, die sehr viel Wertvolles
in unsere Arbeit hineinbringen wird.
Heidi und Stef konnten Inga-Lisa zwei mal im Konzert erleben und
beide sind tief beruehrt von ihren gefuehlvollen Interpretationen sowohl
bei den klassischen Kompositionen als auch bei der keltischen
Folkmusik (sie ist eine ausgezeichnete Interpretin von O'Carolans
grossem musikalischen Erbe).
Die Klaenge, die aus ihrer grossen, goldenen Konzertharfe fliessen
fuehren ihr Publikum in eine grenzenlose Dimension der Phantasie.
Inga-Lisa kam 1959 als Kind von Schweizer Eltern in Schweden (!!)
zur Welt.
Sie fing ihr professionelles Harfenstudium 1979 an am
Konservatorium Zuerich und schloss dort 1983 mit Orchester-
Diplom ab. Anschliessend wurde sie an der Juilliard School of Music
in New York aufgenommen und machte dort nach drei Jahren ihr
Solisten-Diplom..
Anschliessend folgten verschiedene Meisterkurse und rege
Konzerttaetigkeit im In -und Ausland.
Mit der Zeit fing Inga-Lisa an zu unterrichten, um Ihr koennen
andere junge Menschen weiterzugeben. Sie hatte eine
Berufs-Harfenklasse im Konservatorium Schaffhausen und
unterrichtet noch heute Harfe an verschiedene Musikschulen.
Seit zwei Jahren unterrichtet sie in der vom Stef geleiteten Musik-
schule.
Das naechste wird Euch gefallen:-).....
Eine von Inga-Lisas neue Aktivitaeten ist das
Begleiten von Maerchenerzaehlern mit ihrer Harfe.
Wir waren an so einem Anlass eingeladen und sind dabei in einer
wundervollen Keltischen Traumwelt entfuehrt worden.
Nochmals ein herzliches Wilkommen an Inga-Lisa.
Ihr Mitspielen im Bow Triplets ist etwas worauf wir uns alle freuen
koennen.

Das Internet hat angefangen, von uns Notiz zu nehmen.
Im vergangenen Monat hatten wir durchschnittlich 120 Zuhoerer
pro Tag auf unserer mp3.com Seite und dies fuehrte zu relativ
hohe Positionen in den Hitlisten. Das beste bisher war #38 in den

Jodee James aus New Jersey ist eine Saengerin und Liedermacherin
die sich selbst als "professionelle Treaumerin" bezeichnet.
