Dear friends of Bow Triplets,
Flower Power.
Wow, what a spring weather we're having. The winter was just sooo long
here in Switzerland and now we're basking in glorious sunshine.
The garden furniture is installed and Heidi's flowers from last year
are out in full bloom again.
Our week in Sweden was exceptionally warm as well and the playing was
fun. An amazing number of Stef's relatives had turned up for our playing
so we had a great time sitting together, and catching up with the latest
news.
Our little house is very close to where we played, so we took the
chance to sit around on our own veranda as well as put some new plants
in around the house so that we'll be greeted by flowers when we get back
up there in July.

1. Official Release Party. "One Spot on Earth". Come ye all.
In the midst of rehearsing and playing private concerts, the preparation
and advertizing for our CD release party has started. It's going to be a
real
super "craic" party and we're all looking forward to it so much.
From what we hear, the pre bookings are in full swing. Very encouraging
to say the least as there will be room for 300 people in the audience.
Please don't miss this night as we know that it's very important for
the success of the evening to have as many Bow Triplets "insiders" as
possible in the audience. We'd say you probably have a maximum of
another two to three weeks to get tickets.
Again, the date is: Saturday 31. May. Doors, the bar and kitchen open
at 18.30 and the first set starts an 20.30.
Venue: Landgasthof Schwert, Oberstammheim / ZH, Switzerland.

The actual release act of the CD will remain a surprise but we can tell
you that the famous Swiss trobadour Dieter Wiesmann has promised to
be there and act as Godfather for "One Spot on Earth". He may even
sing us a song. Sir Toby Timothy may also give a sample of his vocal
talents.

Mor Cylch is a traditional Celtic music band from Switzerland with Tunes
and Songs from Ireland and elsewhere.
Brendan Wade from Wexford is a great piper and also a well known
singer-songwriter. He plays with Joe Mc Hugh the piper and
multiinstrumentalist from Derry living near Zurich.

Liebe Bow Triplets Freunde
Flower Power.
Fantastisch, das schöne Frühlingswetter. Der Winter war einfach
sooo lang und jetzt räkeln wir uns in der Sonne hier.
Die Gartenmöbel sind schon installiert und Heidis Blumen vom letzten
Jahr blühen wieder.
Unsere Woche in Schweden war ungewöhnlich warm für die Jahreszeit
und unser Musikmachen hat grossen Spass gemacht.
Überraschend viele von Stefs Verwanten sind gekommen um uns zu
hören und so hatten wir eine schöne Zeit zusammen, in der wir die
letzten Neuigkeiten gegenseitig austauschen konnten.
Da unser kleines Schwedenhäuschen ganz nah an dem Ort liegt, wo
wir gespielt haben, nutzten wir die Gelegenheit, um auf unsere Terasse
die Sonne zu geniessen und ein paar neue Pflanzen in die Erde zu
drücken damit wir von frischen Blumen begrüsst werden, wenn wir im
Juli wieder dorthin kommen.

1. Plattentaufe für "One Spot on Earth". Götti Dieter Wiesmann.
Gleichzeitig mit Proben, privaten Konzerten und Unterrichten, laufen
die Vorbereitungen und die Werbung für die CD Taufe auf Hochtouren.
Es wird ein grossartiges Ereignis werden und wir freuen uns alle
riesig darauf.
Wir hören, dass der Vorverkauf sehr gut läuft und das ist ermutigend,
denn um die Tische im grossen Schwertsaal hat es Platz für 300
ZuhörerInnen.
Bitte kommt, wenn ihr könnt. Wir wissen, dass der Abend umso schöner
wird, je mehr Bow Triplets "insiders" im Publikum sind.
Wir schätzen, dass Ihr noch max. zwei –bis drei Wochen Zeit habt um
Karten zu kriegen.

mit Instrumentalstücken und Lieder aus Irland und andere Länder.
Brendan Wade aus Wexford is ein sehr guter Dudelsackspieler
und ebenfalls ein bekannter Liedermacher
