From Greater Baden Aquasco Secretary, Barbara Stone, pertaining to
the law suit against the rubble dump across the street from our only
public school environmental center ("Brandywine" in the statement
below refers to Brandywine Sand & Gravel, the company that wants the
rubble dump). Please support GBACA

"Sue & Cliff Jenkins just reported on the vote at the District
Council yesterday. In case you haven't heard, Marilyn Bland moved to
prepare a denial of the application. It passed 7-0 (Hendershot and
Dean (sorry if I misspelled either of these)) were not present. So
once again we have prevailed before the Council. Of course,
Brandywine can appeal and we can start that process all over, but
with this denial maybe they get the message and will give up.
Obviously, Macy was very pleased with the outcome."
