Sanctuary Update
We and the birds are waiting out the cold weather and looking forward
to spring. But we are not looking forward to all of the spring chores
that await us. As usual, in the coming months, we'll be reseeding
foraging yards, fixing fences, etc. We're also planning to dig a proper
duck pond to replace the plastic pools in which our feathered friends
now paddle. As always, volunteer work crews from nearby cities are
welcome to pitch in on springtime projects. And, as always, we always
hope for donated recycled tools and materials so that we don't have to
waste money or environmental resources buying new things.
