Hello everyone,
With just a week to the Durham IV 2009 we thought we would just let you know
some final details for the weekend.
For those arriving on Friday night, registration opens from 4pm - 6pm at the
Debating Chamber on Palace Green (between the Castle and Cathedral).
Following this, we have Novice and Judging workshops starting at 7pm in
Elvet Riverside. If you have members of your contingent who would like to
attend these workshops then please let us know so we can book appropriately
sized rooms. If you are arriving after 8pm and do not wish to take part in
the workshops then just head down to 24 North Bailey Club - our Union's bar.
On Saturday morning, registration and role call takes place between 9am and
9:30am. Following 5 rounds of debating will be the main social of the
weekend, including pizza, and break being announced around 10pm.
In order to help us run the event as smoothly as possible, can all
institutions please send us an email containing the following information;
- the proportion of novice teams in your contingent
- your institution's rough time of arrival
- how many in your institution require crash (we have a rough idea already
but just to clarify)
- judging C.Vs
