Thanks for all the kind words about the trip report.
When I joined the canoe club they had just started the website but
didn't really have a web master. And no one wanted to be responsible for
it. I got the pleasure of being web master, trip reporter, official
photographer, newsletter editor and now president of the club.
These folks like to paddle, downstream on slow flowing rivers. BWCA was
a real challenge and I know 2 of the guys will never go back.
I've decided, if you have never or do not like to backpack, then you
will hate portaging. But I'm ready to go again. Maybe in September the
next time.
