Howdy Everyone!
Just to let you all know that Mike, W7SST and Phil, WA7URV will be once again setting up a field station in Tigard at Cook Park this weekend. We'll be out there setting up from around 1:00 p.m. on Friday (2/4) and will then operate into the night and through the day on Saturday (2/5). Saturday evening, most will be taken down, but there is a possibility that WA7URV will stay set up through Sunday morning.
You all are welcome to stop by and talk to the Scouts who will be there. The coffee pot will be on line! This first full weekend in February has become quite a tradition in the Tigard area, drawing 2, 3, 4, or maybe more Scout troops who conduct a "pre-camporee" to show off Scouting, practice their skills, and provide an opportunity for Webelos Scouts ("pre-Scouts") to see Scouting in action. It's a lot of fun.
WA7URV will be showing off the new Radio Scouting portable "staton in a box" at this event, too.
We hope to see as many of you as possible! (If you need directions to Cook Park, please reply.)
73,
Mike W7SST and Phil WA7URV
