I am interested.
To do a crossover/key exchange you need at least 2 participants each with a
car. Four hikers, 2 cars is a more practical minimum and hopefully you will
have more. The drivers should bring 2 sets of keys, one to lend to the
other group for the drive in and one to hold on to just in case the exchange
is not accomplished during the hike. All hikers should bring an extra bag
of stuff they want at the end of the hike which goes into the car that they
will be hiking to. This also means that everything they want on the hike
has to be with them when they climb into the car they will hiking from (the
car they take to the trail head).
Some of this stuff can be hard to remember at 6:30 am.

I'm leading a hike this Saturday September 12 leaving from Bi-Mart on 40th
Ave. at 6:30am.
We'll hike in Rainier from the Frying Pan trailhead through Summerland south
on the wonderland trail and continue all the way to Box Canyon. This is 17
miles, so not for the timid. The plan is to split into 2 groups and hike
starting at both ends with a key exchange along the way. Give me a call or
email if you have any questions. Should be splendid!
