I think the problem, is that it works in regular code but not in script
blocks, at least that's what I've found.

HI all - can anyone tell me how to disable the auto insertion of closing
parenthesis and quotes? It's driving me crazy as it's almost always
inappropriate but disabling it in the options doesn't seem to have any
effect!
