 The book says MySQL is fast enough for web sites and "moderate-sized"
organizations. Its speed partly comes from its implementing only a subset
of SQL2 ; e.g., no transactions, triggers or cursors (I think). It might
suffice for proof-of-concept.

No referential integrity, either.
