Hi -
This is some information on the upcoming perl conference. Links to the
session schedules are included. Please forward this to anyone who might be
interested.
The conference fee is only $85 and it runs for 3 days, Wednesday, June 16
- Friday, June 18. All sessions will be held in the Natural Sciences
building on the Amherst Campus at UB.
The conference web site is here:
http://yapc.org/America
You can view the schedule of sessions here:
http://yapc.org/America/day1.shtml
http://yapc.org/America/day2.shtml
http://yapc.org/America/day3.shtml
The sessions will be quite valuable if you are writing perl code on a
regular basis. If you are writing perl code occasionally and you would
like to improve your skills, there are several sessions offered in a
tutorial format such as Tim Maher's "Minimal Perl for UNIX People" and Tad
McClellan's "Learning Perl Objects, References, and Modules."
