Just wanted to clarify what Chicago Park District/Westrec/ 2016 asked me to organize as I think the e mail was a bit confusing (thanks for the heads up Rick)
On June 4th as part of the Lychee Games (174 kids from around the world) they would like us to organize an informal regatta (more of a cruise for the kids)
Time commitment will be June 4th 9am -3pm. It would be 2 sessions. 8 kids per boat. A 1 hour class would be followed by a 1-1.5 hour sail.
You will be covered by their insurance. We will also provide instructors.
What we would need from you is your boat with you on it.
Hope this clarifies things. So far 4 boats have signed on, we would like to get a total of 10.
