cluetrain's influence on schools?  Nico Busch
 Dec 10, 2000 07:14 PST
Hi everyone,

after lurking around for a while I thought that maybe the time has come f=
or my 'outing' + 1st msg. here.

Being one of those young - hmmm - humans who still go to school I wondere=
d what you think the implications of the cluetrain manifesto and its gene=
ral spirit would be for schools.=20

Obviously the Internet in general is going to change the way in which sch=
ools work (long distance learning etc.).
IMO, however, the insight that understanding arises out of 'conversation'=
will change the relationship between teacher and student in a significan=
t way (probably make it more personal).

Hmm...this is my provisional verdict *g* - with quite a lot of holes in i=
t - on school's future.
so......what is going to happen? *s*

Nico
