ummmmm ... nah. Do we really need more nomenclature? Do you linguistically distinguish between a friend you met at work and a friend you met in your neighborhood? A rose is a rose is a rose. Seems to me like the compartmentalizing of online relationships vs. the rest of it all isn't necessary. Besides, we have plenty of vocabulary already: friends, acquaintances, confidants, assholes, lovers, dipshits, clueless fucknozzles, comedians, philosophers, lurkers, and, um, wait, what was that other one I heard somewhere? Oh yeah, valued co-conspirators.
