Measure D campaign kicks into high gear

Dear friends of COAST:
The campaign for Measure D got a shot in the arm this week with large
donations from two major construction firms.
Our political guru, Larry Tramutola, told us that a campaign needs three
things to win: time, money, and people.
We now have the money to run a decent campaign. We still have time, although
no time to waste.
What we need is people. Here is where each one of you can make a difference.
We need to staff our phone bank which is set up to call a targeted list of
undecided voters. Your entire COAST board is working the phones one evening
a week. We challenge each of you to join us there. This is something
EVERYONE can do. No need to be rich, famous, or eloquent. You just need to
care.
So come on down to the phone bank:
Where: Egenolf Law Offices, 130 E. Carillo St. (corner of Santa Barbara
Street) upstairs.
When: Monday thru Thursday, 5:30 to 8:30 PM, Sunday 3-7 PM.
