Measure D party

Hello,
Our phone bank party was a big success. Never mind that the media didn't
show up, we had a good time and got a lot of work done. 22 people came,
completely filling the place. Helene Schneider hit the phone in a serious
way, and so did Janet Wolf. Susan Rose and her husband stopped by, Salud
Carbajal hadn't had anything to eat and polished off all the tortilla chips.
The Coalition leadership was represented by Alex Pujo, Marc Chytilo, David
Landecker and Eva Inbar, all of whom worked the phones. Then there were
SBCAG's Jim Kemp, always a hard worker, the County's Scott McGolpin and Matt
Dobberteen with girlfriend Dianne, the Safe Routes to School moms, numerous
hard working PUEBLO foot soldiers with organizer Miguel, and more.
Coordinator Ben had his hands full training all these people and sending
them out with the proper instructions.
A big thank-you to all of those who came and continue to come to the phone
bank, on this evening or any of the other evenings. It takes all of us to
push Measure D over the top. So come on down and join us:
Where: Egenolf Law Offices, 130 E. Carrillo St. (corner of Santa Barbara
Street) upstairs.
When: Monday thru Thursday, 5:30 to 8:30 PM, Sunday 3-7 PM.
