Rusty, That is great news, and I know that you must feel some relief at least for now. On another note, and another topic of concern mulling in my head about you...if you haven't heard from any of the churches about an interview for you, have you considered (if you haven't already done this) of putting in writing a letter requesting a response from them as to why you haven't heard anything from them, and if they are not considering you for an interview what are their reasons so that you can begin to plan for other pursuits for pastoral work outside of our district...have them put it in writing for you (asking in a diplomatic way, of course)and see where they go with that. It could be useful information for you as well and help to put to rest the uncertainty that you must feel about their reluctance to communicate better with you. I thought I'd let everyone know of the most recent developments in the
Oneida demolitions. The demolitions and eviction notices were stayed (by
which court I was not clear about). So the demolitions are off for now.
This is good news and indeed an answer to prayer.
