Dear Chris, et al,
I am so sorry that I cannot come and enjoy the wk.end. I have not been
able to answer because had to take my husband to the E R in the middle of
the night 3 of 4 times in the last 3 wks. - once via ambulance. He is now in
a nursing home - hoprfully temporarily till his metabolism can be stableized
to the point he will not have to return.
Because I came to your Annual Conf. drama, I would love to be a part of the
wk. end. Hopefully another time. Shalom/Salaam Lois

Please spread the word about this exciting event hosted by the Jubilee
Troupe <http://jubileetroupe.org> January 7-9, 2005 in New Windsor, MD
(outside Baltimore, MD). We are an Anabaptist-based performance group
welcoming all people to be part of a weekend of spiritual energizing,
community building and skill sharing around improvisational movement,
Playback theater and Theater of the Oppressed games. The weekend will
culminate in participant-led small group collaborative pieces to share in a
devotional circle. Hope to see you there!
Jubilee Retreat Weekend
Spiritual Energizing and Skill-Sharing through Improvisational
Arts led by the Jubilee Troupe, its Advisors and YOU!
Explore spiritual enrichment, community renewal and peacemaking action
through new forms of interactive drama, movement and other creative arts.
Activities include:
* playing with basic movement exercises
* learning liberating theater games
* telling stories and reflecting them with improvisational drama
* re-experiencing other familiar art forms as community invigoration
* sharing meals and a supportive community time
What to expect and bring:
* A balance of playful activity, quieted reflection, intensive
skill-building work and personal and group sharing time;
* Your own participation in activities, often active and body-full
according to your own eagerness and ability;
* Your own creative work - be it movement, drama, poetry, music,
sound effects or other lurking, eager-to-develop gifts;
* An opportunity to work on the edges of your own creative work with
other supportive and engaged folks!
