Yes, I purchased a Mercier Corvus road bike from them and am pretty
happy with it. They also sell the Fuji Touring, which is probably
better for commuting. The problem with the Corvus is there is not
enough clearance for large tires or traditional fenders. However, it is
very fast. I took it on my commute a few times and I average about
19mph instead of my usual 16mph. The drop bars and high pressure tires
definitely make it faster, but I feel much safer in traffic with my
upright commuter bike.

I've been riding to work on a 1975 Motobecane. It's pretty tired and I'm

looking for a new bike. Every time I go into a bike shop they want to
sell me an upright style bike. I like the bike I hav but need something
newer. I'm looking for suggestions. Also does anybody know anything
about bikesdirect.com?
