                            HALF AND HALF BARS

   1      cup           Semi sweet choco chips
   3      ounces        Cream cheese
     1/2 cup           Condensed milk
   2      tablespoons   Cashews -- ground
     1/2 cup           Walnuts -- chpd
     1/4 teaspoon      Almond extract
                        -----CRUST-----
   1 1/2 cups          Flour
     1/2 teaspoon      Baking powder
     1/4 teaspoon      Salt
     3/4 cup           Sugar
     1/2 cup           Butter -- softened
                        Egg
     1/4 teaspoon      Almond extract

Make the filling first. In a saucepan, combine choco chips, cream
cheese,
and milk. Melt over low heat, stirring constantly. Remove fromheat.
Stir in
nuts and almond extract, blend well. Set aside. In a large bowl, combine
all
remaining ingredients. Mix well until crumbly. Press half the crust
mixture
into an oiled 7x11" pan. Spread filling over crust. Sprinkle rest of
crust
mixture over filling. Bake 350 deg, 20-25 mins.
