(This might be a good recipe to freeze part of by "dropping the
spoonfuls of dough on a cookie sheet lined with plastic wrap (put them
real close together so you can get a lot on the sheet) and put them in
your freezer for a few hours. When frozen, put all the 'balls' of dough
in a zippie bag and put back in freezer." Then when ready, bake as
directed, as many as needed.) *note this hint came from a lady on one of
the lists I subscribe to.
Makes aprox 27 dozen!
2 lb brown sugar
4 c sugar
1 T vanilla
1 T Karo light syrup
8 t. baking soda
1 lb butter or margarine
3 lbs. peanut butter
18 c. guick oats
1 lb. chocolate chips
1 lb. M&M's, plain
Cream together butter and peanut butter and sugars. Add eggs, baking
soda, vanilla and Karo. Then add oats. Stir in chocolate chips and
M&M's. Bake at 350* for 10 to 12 minutes.
These are very rich, and very good.
