There hasn't been any news in years, AFAIK.
FWIW Haiku progresses in the alt. operating system
world, which pleases me as a BeOS user.
JNode looks interesting but I wonder if people will
accept being looked into a subset of programming
languages: java and whatever gets ported to run on it.
