Re: Compile Problem

Perhaps you didn't do the sequence
./configure will complain if something missing from your development environment.
Also see the README in the /cosmoe directory.
The current CVS version is in limbo as OBOS compatibility and graphics driver architecture changes
aren't finished. So the functionality may be less than the earlier versions.
It crashes on startup for me, seemingly caused by a closing window (cterm is out of date). Perhaps
you can get to see something by #commenting out the line that starts cterm and maybe desktop, in
http://www.cosmoe.com has some screen shots.
I have a problem compiling cosmoe on a debian sarge machine. The compiling
fails with the following messages:
make: Entering directory `/home/quitte/cosmoe/appserver'
gcc -pipe -O2 -g `freetype-config --cflags` -c -Wall -Wno-multichar
- -Woverloaded-virtual -Wnon-virtual-dtor -specs=../cosmoe.specs AppServer.cpp
- -o objs/AppServer.o

been included yet!"
/usr/include/freetype2/freetype/freetype.h:21:2: #error "Please always use
macros to include FreeType header files."
| ||Also I was wondering if there is some hidden archive where more current|
versions of cosmoe can be found?
No, except for the changes on developers hard drives that haven't been checked in.
| ||And are you in contact with the guys from|
blue eyed os?
See the list archive: sometimes it seems.
