Professors and Friends:
Steinem came to Indiana University last Spring, and I missed her talk.
Luckily, IU has the session on archive and available on the web. I hope
you find it as interesting as I do.
Keep having fun.

"Sex and the Feminist Revolution"
Activist, journalist, author and editor, Gloria Steinem talked about Sex
and the Feminist Revolution at Indiana University Bloomington on
February 6, 2003. Ms. Steinem was the keynote speaker for the Kinsey
Institute's series, Women's Sexualities: Portrayals and Perspectives.
Along with the Kinsey Institute, Ms. Steinem's talk was sponsored by the
IUB Chancellor's office, the College of Arts and Sciences, the Indiana
Memorial Union Board and WTIU television.
According to Gloria Steinem, "There's nothing more appropriate than
talking about the Kinsey Report (Sexual Behavior in the Human Female)
and the feminist revolution together because each owes very much to the
other.... The presence of reliable and respected study and information
really made a huge difference."
