Good evening Craig, So difficult for one wanting to be a part of the
cruising lifestyle, to go with the current flow of the
political/economic realities. We have finally arrived in you're
cruising area...The San Blas Islands...which have not yet been checked
off in our little book. I'm certain that it will be worth almost any
price and effort. Having dreamed of seeing it with my own eyes...and in
my own 'floating motel' comes in as a "Cannot be topped" notch in my
gun, as I'm sure it is other's.
Marina charges in Panama are near robbery. No need to say more, but the
country is screwing itself.. I don't get it.
Your Pogo is a rare item and I trust others out there 'know' the quality
either now, or will, when they find out the details soon. How many
Original owners are out there? How many Owners have your marine
credentials? How many owners took Cleopatra's Barge and made her Dance
like a ballerina in the significant waters of her life/Panama's corner
of the Carribean?
Stay well and keep smiling, ron and dorothy

Evening all,
With the demise of several of the yacht clubs in Panama, and the
necessity to use the mega-buck marinas to keep POGO, we have decided to
downsize to a smaller maxi trailer boat. Still lets us get out on the
water around Panama, and we will charter when we want a larger boat for
adventuring. Let someone else have the headache of dealing with the
issues in Panama for yachting.
All of you know POGO II (www.svpogo2.com), so I will say it all with few
words: POGO II is a CSY 44 cutter, built 1978. We have been her only
owners, and she has been well maintained. She is full found for world
cruising, with a current survey and insured for Euros 100K. Her only
need is a good new paint job .... last one in 1994 with Imron. Price is
$120k, with allowances made for any survey issues found.
If you hear of anyone wanting a great sailboat, ready to go, please have
them email me at svpogo2(at)gmail.com for details.
Craig & Sarah,
SV POGO II
