OKTOBERFEST 2008 TICKETS ON SALE!

The Young Adults of St. Matthew's Cathedral (SMYA) and St. Thomas
Apostle Church (STAY) invite you to attend their 7TH ANNUAL OKTOBERFEST
GERMAN BUFFET DINNER AND CELEBRATION on Saturday, September 27 from 6:30
- 10:30 p.m. at the St. Thomas Apostle Parish Hall (2665 Woodley Road,
NW, just one block west of Connecticut Avenue and the Woodley
Park-Zoo/Adams Morgan Metro). This AMAZING event will feature authentic
German cuisine, drinks, delicious desserts, live music (featuring Brian
Campbell on accordion), dancing with lessons (courtesy of Herb
Fredricksen's Bavarian and Austrian Dance Company), and door prizes -
all included with the price of your ticket. A taste of Munich comes to
you as the St. Thomas Apostle Parish Hall is miraculously transformed
into a Hofbrauhaus. Come for this premier social and cultural event of
the year!

Tickets are $30, and you purchase them online at
http://www.stayoungadult.org/oktoberfest.htm via the event's official
web site. They are also available by contacting Dennis at
oktoberfe-@gmail.com or 301-802-4098.

With advance ticket purchase, Oktoberfest attendees will receive a
special commemorative pint glass!

Tickets SOLD OUT again last year, so make sure to get yours EARLY! Viel
Spaß für alles! (Much FUN for all!)
