This is an important meeting, and we urge all who can to participate. VOICE is composed of nearly 40 faith communities of northern Virginia, including St. Charles. On October 5, VOICE leaders will present the VOICE action agenda on affordable housing/homelessness, immigration and health care to northern Virginia's religious, political and civic leaders. By having a large turnout, VOICE aims to convince political leaders attending to make its agenda their own. St. Charles has pledged to send 100 parishioners. Our presence as witnesses to this effort is important.
Corey Stewart, Chair of Prince William County Board of Supervisors, Gerry Connally, Chair of Fairfax County Board of Supervisors, Walter Tejada, Chair of Arlington County Board., James Moran, 8th District Congressman, and Richard Saslaw, State Senator from Fairfax in the Virginia General Assembly, have committed to attend the meeting.
