All - C'YA is scheduled to volunteer on Thursday October 9th at Sullivan
House from 7:00pm to 8:00pm. Please let me know if you can come. See

What? Arlington Alexandria Coalition for the Homeless (aka Sullivan
House). AACH is a private non-profit organization that provides
transitional housing and support services to homeless families and
women. Their mission is to move people into a permanently
self-sufficient, independent life. Sullivan House is a ten-unit, 50-bed
shelter for families and women for 3-4 months.
What would I be doing? C'YA entertains children while their parents
attend workshops. The program is called SKIT. SKIT stands for Support
for Kids in Transition. Basically, we have fun with the kids.
Where? Sullivan House is located close to St. Charles and the Clarendon
metro station. It is on Highland Street between 9th and 10th. If you
