The sociology of cyberspace mailing list provides a forum to discuss the human ramifications of the internet: what it means for human interaction, communities, institutions, and so forth. Another focus is the comparative study of those social interactions and structures in cyberspace with those in the "real" world. It also is a place to discuss theories regarding these issues and the sometimes unique research issues that arise in the study of cyberspace. |
