|List Name||Bicycling issues in the D.C. metro area (dcbike)|
|Purpose:||Welcome to DCBIKE, the Internet discussion of bicycling issues in the D.C./mid-Atlantic region.
As for the content of the discussion on DCBIKE, anything goes but keep it related to bicycling and even bicycling in the D.C. metropolitan area.
DCBIKE is a service of the Washington Area Bicyclist Association. WABA has been working since 1972 to improve conditions for bicycling in the D.C. metropolitan area. Almost every aspect of bicycle infrastructure in the area -- from bicycle access to Metro to the Capital Crescent Trail to the Route 7 bridge for the W&OD Trail -- is due to WABA's hard work. It is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization well worthy of your support. Contact them at www.waba.org.
