Good for you! We had great weather up here. We had family around Thur/Fri but I got in an hour ride on Sat and then played golf yesterday.

You missed a nice ride. Had good weather on Diablo last Monday. I was the only DC member. Had four or five Benicia riders too. I went as far as Juniper. The others went to the summit.
We were also on Diablo on Thursday. Was cold and foggy on the way up North Gate until the last hair pin turn. Broke out into the sun at that point. Only went to the junction Thursday. Those that went on up the summit road said it was very nice up there.

Hello cmartinelli,
Friday, November 21, 2008, 2:30:16 PM, you opined:
==================================ccic> I am taking Monday off next week and am planning to ride up Diablo with a
ccic> friend from the Benicia Bike Club, Joe Shami. Our plans are for a 9:30 AM
ccic> departure from Heather Farms. He is letting the BBC know so there may be
ccic> others along for the ride. Told Joe that I would do the same for the DC,
ccic> thus this note.
ccic> Any of you who are on this list and have Monday off are welcome to join
ccic> us. We will go to the summit. Even though starting at HF would seem to
ccic> dictate going up North Gate, that has not been determined. We could end
ccic> up going down the boulevard and up South Gate. Am going to let Joe S make
ccic> that decision.

As it happens, I am also off on Monday. I would really like to join
you for a ride on the mountain, BUT, I've already committed to a
jaunt from Furnace Creek out to Scotty's Castle to enjoy one of their
foul, nasty, tasteless microwave burritos!! But then, the weather
*WILL* be quite nice - mid-70's expected, with very little wind.
