Hello Tom,
Friday, April 10, 2009, 6:27:47 PM, you opined:
===================================
TR> What gives you the idea that SLO county building code requires indoor plumbing? This is a real fixer upper. The crescent moon was upside down! I had to make a whole new door. I didn't realize
TR> until I had cut the tree down, cut & finished it to the proper size, cut an appropriate moon, hung the door, plumbed & levelled it that I could have just turned the old door upside down. Oh well,
TR> it kept me out of trouble for a week.
TR>
TR> I've been keeping busy on the bike. There's a nasty little climb here called Prefumo Canyon. Doug says it's been on the Solvang double but thank god it's not anymore. It's a 5 mile climb, most of
TR> it in the last 3 miles. Seems worse than Diablo, but shorter. Anyway, I'm using it for my weekly torture in place of Diablo. I hate it. Pretty much every week I hate it. But it makes all the
TR> other rides I'm doing seem easy.

TR> Read right past the sentence re 'bringing plumbing up to code'. Does this mean that your new place now has indoor plumbing? And that it is no longer necessary to make the trek to that building

Hey Tom,
Perfumo is still in the Solvang double. But it's the fall edition that
takes place the middle of October. The spring edition which Dan and I
just did goes out to Morro Bay, then comes back past Perfumo. We have
lunch, if you can call a Subway "lunch", at the Laguna Lake golf
course there on Los Osos Valley Rd.
Can I assume that you've gone beyond the end of Perfumo, and made the
descent down See Canyon??
Take care, and watch your fingers when swinging the hammer!

Thanks,
Doug
