Dear Friends on the World-Wide Doyletics List,
Chris, a member of this List, has communicated several emails with
me privately, but allowed me to post them to the List to help others.
His first post to me:
[[ Have you ever done a trace counting down in smaller increments than
months? Due to a respiratory situation I was having my recurring
"smothering- claustrophobia" doyle this morning. I traced back to 1 hour
and then went backwards by hours and at -5 hours I got relief. I had to
repeat the trace three times but it seems to have gone away.
Chris]]
I wrote back to him:
[[So something happened between 4 and 5 hours before you were born? I'll
bet your mom will likely recall some related incident at that time.
Perhaps your dad, separately, or in addition to your mom's recollection.
Always good to ask about such things while your parents are still alive
and can still remember. Plus, it gives added confirmation to the speed
trace itself.
Another member of this WWD List had some "in the womb" stuff going on
(cramps in his legs, etc) and when he asked him mom, she revealed
his pre-birth time, the doctor was manipulating
his body to turn it around and prevent a breech birth. ]]
The claustrophobia or smothering doyle is one that Chris has strived
to trace unsuccessfully, up until now. On a hunch, he began tracing
down hourly to his birth and before birth and at FIVE HOURS BEFORE
BIRTH, his doyle went away and has not returned. He even tried to
trigger the doyle again after the successful trace by holding a
pillow tightly over his face, and no doyle.
I suggested he get some feedback from his parents and this is what he
found out:
His mother was only 17 when she was pregnant and full term and her water
broke when she was alone. She tried to have a bowel movement
to no avail. Five hours later, Chris was delivered by a C-Section
(Caesarian birth). During the five hours after her water broke, the baby
in the womb was literally being compressed in many directions and close
to smothering apparently due to some unusual compression on the
umbilical cord caused the absence of the water which had previously
floated the full-term baby. As an adult, Chris, finally has found
release from this onerous doyle, and thanks to feedback from his mother,
has some insight into what led to the formation and storage of this
doylic memory.
There are many lessons to be learned from Chris's experiences, so let me
list the few which come immediately to my mind:
1) My hypthesis that a doyle can disappear if one simply jumps back from
the original event (of doylic memory storage) may need to be amended to
say that it may be helpful to use Hourly Time Marks while tracing to
home in closely on an event, especially a near natal event, within a day
before/after birth.
2) By tracing down by the hour, Chris was able to keep the doyle active
and keep on the track of the doyle, PLUS he obtained the salient
information, the five-hour-mark, which enabled him to pinpoint the
cause of the doylic event, his mother's water breaking.
3) We see the value here of asking the Plausibility Question and getting
external confirmation.
Here's how Chris put it when I asked him if the time between the water
breaking and C-Section was five hours: [[Apparently so. I had heard the
story before but thought that it all took much longer. She told it to my
son this time as if it was just in the 5 hour time frame. As I recalled
the tracing I was doing the other night it made great sense. After
several unsuccessful attempts at a conventional trace something told me
to try hourly and as soon as I did and got past the -5 hour mark the
doyle dissipated and hasn't returned. I've even tried to elicit it by
covering my face with a pillow, but it seems to be gone. Then when I
read my sons E-mail it was like a light went on, it gave me insight into
the smothering/claustrophobia doyle like never before.]]
4) We also see the value of not giving up when a doyle trace is not
successful the first time. Remember a doyle trace is a way of ASKING
YOUR BODY what's going on with this unpleasant doyle it keeps bringing
to your attention. Your body wants you to retrieve the information and
remove the doylic component of the memory and the only way it can make
sure you keep trying is to keeping bringing up the doyle.
There will be other insights from Chris' sharing which occur to some of
you, and I encourage you to share them with the WWD List.
most cordially,
Bobby
P. S. A big thanks to you, Chris, for your courageous work and for
sharing your insights with us.
