Hi Christopher and other DP-PT listers,
Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm a studio owner in the NYC area.
I've been a Performer user since 1989 and a DP user since 1995. I got
into DP with an AudioMedia III card originally and eventually went
with a 2408 MkII primarily for editing work. I had been exclusively
an analog studio up until this year when I came kicking and screaming
into the Pro Tools world. I don't plan on giving up Digital Performer
because I love it so. Of course, using a 192 I/O with it is quite
nice.
I notice a few postings from time to time on the Digidesign Users
Conference about DP but I find the site excruciatingly sluggish and
that drives me crazy. I came across this list, recognized
Christopher's name from the DUC and thought I'd join. Glad this list
is here.
