Turn Your Site's Visitors Into Buyers

by Kevin Nunley
htt://DrNunley.com

The most common complaint I hear, and I hear it from
just about everybody, is "my site gets lots of vistors
but hardly any sales." What's the problem?

One of the downsides of the Net is how hard it is to get
visitors to buy what you're selling. Typically 1% or fewer
visitors buy. The percentage of visitors that buy is called
your conversion rate.

Imagine if Sears or Wal-mart got only got one buyer for every
1,000 people who came through the store. Because customers
don't have to drive across town to get from one web site to
the next, consumers are far less likely feel committed to
placing an order.

If a visitor doesn't find what they're looking for
right away, they click to the next choice. This is
especially true if they found you via a search engine.
It's oh so easy and perfectly natural just to click back
and forth from the search engine page to site after site
until a site strikes your fancy.

You can win this battle by having a site that gets right
to the heart of what people are looking for right at
the top of the opening page. What are you selling and
why would people want to buy from you (price, speed, service,
etc.)? Put all that right at the top of your opening page.

Increase your orders by showing visitors what a great
VALUE your product or service is. List lots of benefits the
customer will get when they buy. Tell them how your product
or service will make their lives better.

Put a link to your order page near the top of your sales copy
and another at the bottom. If your copy is long, put a link
in the middle. Don't asume that everybody is going to read
every word of your copy before looking for the order link
at the bottom of the page. Make sure people always know
where to click at the moment they get the urge to buy.

One of the most important factors in doing business online
is to get customers to trust you. Studies show that most
North Americans are still kind of shy about placing an order
online. Do everything you can to set their fears at ease.

Put your photo (or a photo of your building, employees,
even your computer) on your opening page. This helps
people feel like they know you. Some site owners feel they
don't look the part of someone who would own their site. Hey,
if that really bugs you, don't post your photo. But looking
less than perfect makes you look like a real person and
not one of the flawless models that grace most sites. Those
"modeled up" sites have gotten so common people probably
don't even notice the photos anymore.

Include your name and contact info on every page. Many
won't order from a site that doesn't list a telephone number
or physical address.

Use plenty of testimonials from satisfied customers. You'll
find sales jump when you put a testimonial on your order
page to reassure buyers just before they finalize their
purchase.

New Low Cost Jewels Make Luxury Affordable For All

by Simon Fischer
http://YourDreamIzHere.com

For centuries sparkling, beautiful jewels have been THE sign of
wealth and luxury the world over. Wearing quality jewelry makes
just about everyone feel special and look better. Jewels have
had such a long and lasting importance in our world that we give
them as a sign of our most treasured possession -- a long-term
relationship.

Increasingly, wearing fine jewelry can be a noticeable sign of
your success and achievement. Walk into a business meeting
wearing an eye-catching ring, bracelet, or watch and your stature
immediately rises as perceived by those around you. Your ideas
seem more important and your power to prevail increases.

Centuries ago only Kings and Queens could afford jewels. Even in
recent years, only the well-healed could afford a nice selection
of quality jewels.

You could expect to pay anywhere from $800 to $5,000 for a nice
piece of jewelry. That meant either wiping out your retirement
account or making monthly payments, sometimes for years.

Today all that has changed for the better. Recent changes and
discoveries in the jewelry market have made wearing fine jewelry
more affordable than ever in history. Gold rings with genuine
stones can now be purchased online and elsewhere for well under
$100. I recently found a genuine white gold diamond ring for
just $129.99.

Another option that is used today to keep the costs affordable
is to use a sterling silver base and coat it with gold. Prior
to this method, the only affordable jewelry was to use
sterling silver but it had the disadvantage of tarnishing.
This new method offers many advantages. It does not tarnish
because it is gold plated, it is more beautiful than sterling
silver and it is certainly more affordable.

Those kinds of prices put fine jewelry in a whole new light. For
many of us, the $100 to $150 range falls into the realm of an
easy purchase. You can buy it just because it makes you feel
good without having any impact on your budget.

New much lower jewelry prices mean you can have a different style
or color of jewelry to go with each of your suits. You can have
a several-piece collection of similar designs to go with each of
your favorite dresses.

Perhaps even more important, it's easy to give nice jewelry as a
gift, even if for no other reason than you were just thinking how
much you value the recipient.

very wide selection of affordable high-quality rings, bracelets,
earrings, watches and more. Many items are below $100 and $150.

Search Engines Change So Fast - Most Of What You Hear Is Wrong

by Jerry West
http://WebMarketingNow.com

Few things are as important to online businesses as reliable
Search Engine Optimization. Get listed high on top search
engines and you can just about bet on getting a big boost in
sales.

Businesses often spend big bucks on SEO experts, advice, and
systems that are touted to deliver your site into the promised
land of high rankings. The bad news is -- most of this advice is
outdated, untested, or just plain wrong.

Here's why. Search engines are extremely complicated and
constantly changing. What worked last year may be completely
wrong today. What worked yesterday may be outdated by this
afternoon. SEO advisors who get their information from
discussion groups (as many do) are often repeating untested
guesses, theories, and rumors. Sometimes they misinterpret what
search engine changes really mean for real websites.

Keeping up with search engines has become a full-time job, not
just for one person, but for a full team of seasoned pros. It
takes that many trained people to pour through the hundreds of
pages of new findings, and TEST new methodologies.

I stress the word TEST because that's really the only way you can
know an optimization or marketing strategy is going to work. My
team constantly tests new strategies in real life situations to
see how search engines will respond.

In general, it's good to learn how at least some of the Net's
most important search engine features (like Google's vital
PageRank system) work. You should also learn how to use meta
tags and Overture to get your site listed quickly and in a way
that will bring you more visitors and sales.

If you really want better ranking for your site, you are well
advised to get the help of a qualified SEO professional. Choose
a firm that specializes in SEO or SEM. You'll know which ones
are the most successful because THEIR sites are ranked high in
search engines.

WHY SUCCESS MAY BE KILLING YOU - AND WHAT YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT!

by Howard Waldstreicher
http://www.halfhourpower.com

You have probably worked long hours and many years to get where
you are professionally. It took hard work and real dedication to
achieve the success you enjoy now. Reaching professional goals
is something to be proud of, but few stop to consider the
physical tradeoffs this success often requires.

Few people stop during their climb up the corporate ladder to
consider what their daily lifestyle may be doing to their health.
Often, achieving success means spending day after day at a desk
or standing behind a counter. Americans don't get nearly enough
exercise, and with that comes health risks. Those risks include
osteoporosis, diabetes, cardiovascular disease and a number of
other related health problems.

It is critically important to get proper exercise on a regular
basis. Without it, you will almost certainly have pains and
mobility problems down the road. But the right exercise regimen
not only can decrease the risk of serious health issues, it can
also help you achieve even greater goals, both personally and
professionally.

Many don't realize that half-hearted trips to the gym several
times a week simply won't cut it when you're trying to improve
long-term health. A lot of people who work out regularly may not
be getting the kind of exercise that prevents health problems and
allows them to enjoy a full, active life.

The problem with most workouts is they focus on strengthening
specific muscles or areas of the body and are very time
consuming. That's great if you're a bodybuilder, but that's not
how our bodies normally work.   While this offers physical
improvement in the form of tighter muscles and reduced fat, it
fails to provide the bending, twisting and abrupt stops that are
important to a truly effective exercise routine. These kinds of
motions are common in everyday life, like bending over to pick up
your keys. Failing to work them into an exercise routine means
the body will never be trained for common movements, which
naturally grow more difficult for us as our bodies age.

So, while thousands of individuals make monthly payments on
expensive exercise equipment and gym memberships that promises to
make them look better, they are neglecting the type of movement
that extends health benefits down the line.

In the U.S., people 35 to 54 years old account for more than one
million sports-related injuries each year. While that number
sounds imposing, it is completely within our power to change the
statistic. So how can we lessen our own risks?

The solution is to combine exercise with common movements. Use
exercises that approximate the kind of speed and movement you use
in sports or other active tasks. Movements like lunges, squats
and jumps all build muscle, improve balance and when performed
quickly and repetitively, can provide an effective cardiovascular
challenge.

The best part about this effective workout is that it doesn't
require expensive equipment or a lot of time to pull it off.
Getting back to basics with exercise balls, medicine balls and
resistance bands is all you need to help prevent injury, as well
as tone and shape your body into a stronger, healthier physique.

DON’T LET THE OIL COMPANIES RIP YOU OFF AT THE PUMP

As gas companies and oil cartels drive gas prices to exorbitant
levels, consumers are using the Internet to steer themselves to
stations with the cheapest gas

By Carl Mueller of http://GasPriceAlert.com

Do you get a sinking feeling in the pit of your stomach when you
fill up at the pump? The "Price of this Sale" window whirs by in
a blur as the "Gallons" window creeps along. If gas prices dip
below $3 a gallon, our mood lifts -- these days we think that’s a
bargain. Meanwhile, the gas companies and oil cartels are
laughing all the way to the bank.

What if you could fight back against the high prices they set?
What if you could do it effortlessly, just by checking your e-
mail? You can.

No, I’m not talking about those free sites that list gas prices. They
rely on volunteers to pass along information that may be out of
date by the time you read it. The community or neighborhood where
you live may not even be listed. Or it may be one week but not
the next.

By subscribing to GasPriceAlert.com, you’ll receive targeted, up-
to-date information daily, weekly -- as often as you’d like. A
concise, clear e-mail lists the gas stations with the cheapest
prices in your service area. You define that area by providing us
with three zip codes. One may be where you live, the others where
you work, visit -- you decide. If you want, specify a type or
brand of gas.

How much you’ll save with GasPriceAlert depends on the kind of
car you drive, how many cars you own, and so on. But based on
Environmental Protection Agency miles-per-gallon averages, the
typical two-car family could save at least $546 annually. Yet our
consumer-driven service costs just $34.95 a year.

Even if a miracle occurs and gas prices drop for the long term,
you’ll save just as much -- the price difference between the most
expensive and the cheapest gas always stays about the same.
You’ll save year after year based on how often you fill up, not
on how much a gallon of gas costs.

If you stop at the MiniMart once a week for a cup of coffee, the
cost adds up to more than $50 or $60 a year -- about twice as
much as the cost of GasPriceAlert. Our service not only costs
less, it’s worth much more than a cup of joe. So relax and enjoy
every sip -- that coffee will taste better when you’re not
getting ripped off at the pump outside the door.

Intrigue Learning Services in Bellingham, Wash. For more
