Hi Roy,
I must highlight to you that this eagentmall has been created in no sense. I
meant if you are a consumer, thinking to shop online, nonetheless, the
products that they deliver online weren't you can find it too in any
departmental stores? Unlike e-Bay, perhaps, many books couldn't find on
shelf as you like per se.
The case that I suspect here was: wasn't it unfair for a consumer to buy a
product added on the despatch fees? Don't you think this is much expensive?

Julian,
if I had a need for it, then I would pay for the product. Having said that,
and unless I missed something, I don't think there is any difference
between the website you highlighted and something along the lines of amazon
or ebay.
I think the conclusion we can draw from this is that ecommerce is not an
undefinable or indeterminable group of concepts but there are distinct
categories within the wider definition of ecommerce, which range from the
pure selling goods and services online to the limited use as a point of
sale or knowledge management tool.
With the development of new technologies (e.g. peer to peer file-sharing)
as well as the wider application of broadband networks the whole landscape
of ecommerce should be changing. Perhaps as a trend for the future it the
home computer will become the first/main access point, for shopping,
television, radio, live events, movies, communication and storage as weel
as an encyclopedia.
