Wahid's visit to Japan  Frank Legge

We have a second request from supporters in Japan to publicise the visit of President

Wahid to the Japanese Prime Minister which is scheduled for today (Monday) and
tomorrow. The hope is that people will send faxes to urge the Prime Minister and
Foreign Minister to raise with Wahid the situation of the East Timorese who are still

prevented from exercising their right to return home, despite promises to give them
free choice. As there are reports that these people are disappearing the situation is
