Fraud is a big issue and a big fear...the internet is so wide open to
abuse

·         Cost of advertising something that no-one knows about is
exorbitant.

Marketing people just don't seem to get it that Advertising doesnąt work
on
the internet, except in a contextual sense where it enhances what you
are
doing...so much money pissed down the drain

·         Micropayments I realise is the future. So many businesses and
customers would appreciate a reliable and low cost form of Micropayments
(being able to pay 1p or 1c for something)

The dream...still we are not there because the cost to process is more
that
the amount collected...also there is no real incentive to the incumbent
money

·         Products sold over the Internet have to be either be a
service, or
something that can be posted (like a book or a CD, hence Amazon's
success), or
a low cost method of deliver to home and work or collection
centres/shops/points which are a pleasant experience rather than a
degrading
experience (a warehouse with a bell, a glass window and a rude guy) to
pick up
 goods ordered (and returned)

·         Returned Goods, That's one of the biggest problems about
Internet
 business.

Why?? No different than Mail-order has ever been. You have to value add
the
 process and it will work.
