RE: EM for clean air??  PeterNZ

Hello John,

First of all, greetings to Germany. I was a German once before I moved to New Zealand and found Life again!

Anyway, I would like to point out one problem I see with the use of EM! You brought up the example of a hen house or even on a bigger scale a Poultry Production place. See you say that " A good
example is in a poultry house with so much ammonia gas
that it chocks your throat the moment you get in to
that house." This is actually a bad example! Because a clean hen house which is maintained properly, the hens fed correctly and with a proper pest control i.e. keeping rodents out of the food etc. does not smell like you described it. What does this have to do with EM you ask? It is the same with other "easy" ways of fixing something. We humans tend to choose the easy way. What I want to say is, the application of EM does not replace the need to clean your hen house and keep it tidy and healthy! It helps a lot but it is no excuse to say "Well I spray EM so I don't have to clean it every two weeks. I can leave it for two months now. Because it doesn't smell anymore" This is not good and actually counter productive!

I am sure your mail wasn't supposed to be interpreted like I did. But one could come to the conclusions I listed above. I just thought it is worthwhile to raise these issues!

Cheers

Peter

My name is John

I leave in Kenya but currently in Germany for a 3
months internship with EMIKO. EM company in the
region.

As for your question about EM foe clean air, i
strongly believe it will help. Take for instance, what
happens when you spray EM on a polluted environment
e.g toilet, drainage system, decomposing organic
matter and so forth. Without EM, there is always foul
smell. (hydrogen sulphide, ammonia and other harmful
gases. EM once applied triggers fermentative
decomposition suppressing all the bad smell. A good
example is in a poultry house with so much ammonia gas
that it chocks your throat the moment you get in to
that house. That is a harmful gas even to the chicken
and that is why it is a root cause of other diseases
in poultry production. The air we breath is also very
important. That is why we also need plants around to
absorb and break down this harmful gas into may
something less toxic. Even in our houses we need
plants and it will do good if you are using EM to
bring about the Nature into the plants. Indoor plants
will also help purify the air.

As for the EM in the laboratory, it is important in
the sense of verifying that the actual cultured
microorganisms are there and in what quantity and so
forth. Sometimes we need a laboratory as a requirement
and also for testing for any contamination because
these are a living entity.
They need a very clean environment in the process of
culturing them. That is why we need clean materials
and items in this processes including a laboratory.

Dear all of you,

1. I live in Athens Greece and was informed about
EM last November 2005 by the local representative
and since then, I started slowly using them in my
garden, in my veranda, in my home. As it was very
new to me and needed to make some tests each time. I
thought of using them fror mopping up my veranda
where my little dog oftens does here peeing... when
I am not in time back to take her out! I added some
in the bucket's water, did not change it at all for
about a week!!! and there was no smell whatsoever.
I was impressed! I was also impressed to see my
indoor plants that usually lost quite a lot of
leaves during winter, to remain healthy after I
started spraying them for about once a weed all
through winter.

Now, I have a question for you. A very important
one. My mother lives in the middle of the city
which, unfortunately is very polluted. She suffers
of Parkinson's disease among other things and does
not want to move from her appartment, not even for
the summer months.

I was thinking of trying to spray twice a day
(moring and night) into the appartment with a
solution of 1:100 EMa in an endeavor to clean the
air she breaths day- in/day-out. Do you think it
would be a good idea? Do you believe that this
should in a way solve this part of the problem I
have and concerns my mother's well-being? I had a
few months ago bought EM-X for her to drink, she did
it a few days and then returned to me the half full
bottle saying that it did not help her at all, as if
this would be magic! If my idea of spraying in the
air could be of help, I could arrange it with the
woman who takes care of her without even my mother
knowing!

Please let me know if you have had in the past
similar cases.

2. I was talking yesterday to a man I met who deals
with nurseries and imports of plants and talked to
him about EM. He then made a question that I did
not know what to reply. He said: But isn't EM1
produced in the laboratory? If it is, how is it
considered natural? What is the reply to this??

Many thanks ffor your attention

Chryssoula
