Video Interviews, Video Resumes

YouTube started it. Google saw value and adopted it.
And it seems to be spreading. The "it" is the video
resume and the video interview. Has anyone done one?
Does anyone want to try one (or several)?
I'm aware of at least one recruiter who says he spent
three hours going through video resumes. He came up
with no viable candidates. I need to find his blog
post to learn why none of the videos proved to be
worthwhile as well as how many were viewed in that
three-hour period.
There are lessons to learn from the recruiter's
experience. There are excellent "don't do this"
lessons for the job seeker.
But at this time, I'd like to know what you think (or
even if you've heard) of this new recruiting tool.
