It's been a while since we talked. The last message from this site was
dated 11/18/07 (just before I went into the hospital). Well, if you've
been active on the new site, you know that things have been a little
quiet. That's because I'm back in the hospital and have been for about
the past two weeks.
In evaluating this discussion email list compared with the group site,
it seems you prefer this setting. In response to your reactions, the
email list is being revived.
Other minor changes will be happening as time passes. Trust me, I'll let
you know what's up and where to find the things you want to know. Your
responsibility, however, is to make certain you let me know what you
want. (I'm so bad at mind reading!)
I've always considered this list as a networking tool that makes it
possible for job seekers/advancers and recruiters (and related
professionals) to communicate with one another. The other thing that I
see is the more the recruiters speak, the more they create that
highly-prized status of more transparency and therefore more confidence
for potential candidates. That then should lead to more people
interested in using that recruiter's services.
Additionally, the more we all openly communicate during these times, the
more we will wake up new ideas and generate more novel or constructive
methods for reaching the goal sooner.
Well, maybe I'm dreaming but this list is about making positive things
happen for all.
As usual, talk to me. Tell me what's working for you; tell me what could
be cut down or cut out.
