(Sorry if you get this twice - Topica is acting funny)
Hi Everyone,
It's been a while since I've written - long enough that a few people
have been asking if they're still on my mailing list. So, here's an
update on what's been going on lately:
My feature on KQED's Spark will be re-run tonight! During the summer, a
film crew from Spark came out and filmed me setting up, promoting and
performing in a show for Project Soundwave. Many fine Bay Area musicians
are also featured, including Myrmyr, Moe! Staiano, Liz Allbee and Lance
Grabmiller. The spot will air:
Wednesday 7:30pm
Friday 9:30pm
Saturday 2:00pm
Sunday 11:30am & 7:00pm
On KQED, channel 9
My latest cd "SoftWetFish" has been getting airplay on college stations
around the country, and lots of reviews too. Every song on the disc has
been played on the radio somewhere, including the one that's 28 seconds
long. If anyone's curious, I have collected the different reviews that
have come in, and posted them at
http://www.ribosomemusic.com/softwetfish.html
At the moment, I don't have any shows lined up, but I do have a few
recommendations for other shows:
