Challenge for anyone interested
Amir had a copy of the 2 pdf whitepapers which he sent to me. Both
papers have a section on the topic of using fractal/self-referential
skeletal strokes. Now that I am have a much faster computer I want to
play around with this feature.
The e3 user interface does not encourage this- in fact the user
interface rather tries to prevent it? I get:
"Stroke "X" cannot be defined from strokes with the same name. The 2
strokes called "X" have been ignored."
However, I seem to recall that there is a trick or workaround involving
using 2 stroke definitions, then merging them, or renaming the stroke
files on the filesystem. Or is it that you create 2 or 3 repeating
strokes, that reference each other, resulting in an IFS?
Did I just dream this up and it's really impossible to do it with e3 or
acrylic? Any takes to this challenge? I cannot figure out how to do it. :-)
