We Need Warm Feelings My Friends..
My sponsored village in Ethiopia write me letters
this moment every year at November and when necessary.
I would like to share reading these letters again with
you.In fact the first time I read these letters with
tears glowing on my eyes.
Please pay close attention to the paragraph that comes
before the end to think about the real reasons of the
misery.

Warmest seasonal greetings from SOS Children`s Village
Awassa!
It`s our great pleasure to think of you at this time
when the whole world is in high Christmas spirit.
Home
As usual, our village remained to be a home for many
children keeping them happy and healthy.
We`re able to do that with your continuous support and
we could not thank you enough for that.
We`re also grateful for our mothers who are the cores
of SOS families rearing the children as their own. As
time goes by, it`s inevitable for some of them to retire.
Hence, we`ve been training 25 new mothers who will replace
retiring mothers in the SOS Villages in Ethiopia.

JOHANNESBURG/GENEVA, 26 November 2003 –
The staggering number of African children
already orphaned due to AIDS is only the
beginning of a crisis of gargantuan proportions,
and “the worst is yet to come,” warned a UNICEF
report issued today.
AIDS has already orphaned more than 11 million
African children, half of whom are between the
ages of 10 and 14. The countries that will see
the largest increases in the number of orphans –
Botswana, Lesotho and Swaziland -- are those
with HIV prevalence levels already higher than
previously thought possible, exceeding 30 per cent.
