| Purpose: |
Anyone who lives or works in Fairfax County, Virginia is welcome to join. We are a group of people committed to recycling things we don't need anymore, keeping items out of landfills, and helping our fellow participants by giving things away to each other for FREE.
Anything can be listed as long at it is appropriate for all ages. This means any age-restricted purchases (alcohol, cigarettes) should not be posted, and also no adult materials please.
Your first five postings to the group will be moderated, after that you are able to post unrestricted. Please be responsible! This group is small, but we need you to help us grow. It is for ANYBODY in Fairfax County, whether you live here or work here or whatever.
Brief description of Free Sharing:
FreeSharing is when you have an item you no longer need that is just too nice to put in the trash and you give the item away thru your local FreeSharing group.
So if you have an outdated TV, a garage you are cleaning out, or even a bunch of empty coffee cans, find your local group and pass on those items instead of tossing them in the dump.
