Caring for Those Who Cared for Us  Jenny Baker

So the good news is, we're living a lot longer these days. The bad news
is, the health-care system is not necessarily prepared for us to do so.
Unfortunately, facilities and provisions for care of the elderly aren't
even close to keeping up with the growing number of elderly people in
the U.S. today.

One of the things this means is that many of us may be responsible for
the care of elderly relatives in the future. So, wouldn't it be a good
idea to do a little planning and information gathering for such an event
before it actually happens? If you think so, you'll want to have a look
at the Elder Care Resources on the Careguide.net site. Here, you'll find
all kinds of info on the options available to you and your loved ones,
covering everything from which kinds of care are available to which
might be right specifically for you and yours, and ideas on how to pay
for it. There is also a Provider Search feature, along with articles on
concerns pertinent to the elderly. In short, there's a lot of valuable
info here. And you'll probably be relieved if you've had a look through
it before you actually need it.

The site is here: http://www.careguide.net/ Once there, click on "A
Loved One" link at the right of the page to get to the Elder Care
