Greetings all. Today I offer a prize to the person able to identify who
said the following: "We are an impossibility in an impossible universe."

The answer is Ray Bradbury, and the prize is one you all can share. It's
the ScienceMaster web site, where the quote from Mr. Bradbury is
featured. This page is particularly of interest to anyone with a
school-aged child enrolled in a science class (especially if your child
doesn't happen to like that science class too much) or educators who
teach science. The purpose of the site is to make science education fun
and get kids excited to learn about it. So what kinds of things does the
site offer to achieve those ends? For kids, there are sections devoted
to various branches of science, including space, physical, earth, and
life sciences. Each of these sections has tons of very cool pictures and
articles to take science out of an abstract educational environment and
make it interactive and fun. Be sure to check out the link to America's
national parks -- these are the coolest earth pictures of all!

Additional resources for educators include sections with scientist
profiles and an area where fellow science teachers share their wisdom
and advice.
