Does anyone have ideas how to make the shifter feel less sloppy?
I knock out the plastic bushings and install 5/16" or 3/8"? steel nuts with
nylon locking inserts.
The outside size is a nice snug fit for the bushing hole in the cable end
and the center fits over the mech shaft with the nylon insert locking into
the retainer groove.
