on job or do I have to swap the internals into my current tranny?

Minivan's had the A604 I believe. If it's an A413 (I'm not sure about the
turbo mini's) then all you have to do is swap the diff and your 86 axles
will go right in. OR, upgrade to 87+ axles.

2.5 Minivans used either a 555 manual or a 413 automatic.
The 89 Minivan transmission will direct bolt up to an 86 motor but 87-95
axles will be required due to the larger axle splines.
Assuming it is going in a '86 Lebaron, you will need axles from a 87-95
Shadow/Daytona/Lebaron.
